Abstract

ABSTRACT Kumara, Durin. A.D, 2018,Analisa Potensi Bahaya dengan Menggunakan Metode JSA dan HIRA Pada Proses Pengelasan di PT. OM HWAHAHA, Program Study Teknik Industri , Fakultas Teknik Universitas Islam Majapahit (UNIM). Pembibing I : Erly Ekayanti Rosyida, ST,MT Pembibing II: Andhika Cahyono Putra, ST,MT Welding is the process of connecting metal or non-metal which is done by heating the material to be connected to the welding temperature which is carried out with or without using pressure or without using filler metal. Problems that occur in the welding process are exposure to welding smoke which causes workers to suffer from ARI (Acute Respiratory Infection). Based on this background the authors are interested in conducting research with the aim of knowing the dangers of ARI to the health risks of workers and controlling risks due to exposure to welding vapors. The methods used are job safety analysis (JSA) and hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA) methods. The results showed that in the welding process there were 24 potential hazards with 24 risks from 6 work activities in it. Based on the results of the risk assessment, of the 24 risks in the welding process there are 6 types of risk in the low risk category, 6 types of risk in the medium risk category, 11 risks in the high risk category and 1 risk in the extreme category. The conclusion of this study is that the greatest level of risk in the welding process is the risk of the high risk category of 45%. The risk of the high risk category includes the risk of being hit by a plate, torch light exposure, exposure to fume torch, sparks cutting torch, exposure to welding light, exposure to welding fume, sparks welding, sandblasting tube blast and sandblasting hose explosion.
