Abstract

ABSTRACT The role of the capital market is most important for a company. With the capital market, those who have more funds can invest these funds in the hope of obtaining a return while the issuer (in this case the company) can use the funds for the company's operational funds. The company can operate on a larger scale and in turn will achieve the goal to increase company revenue. Investors who will buy shares will choose profitable shares. This can be seen from the company's performance by analyzing the company's financial ratios. This study aims to analyze the effect of dividend policy, profitability and price to book value on the stock price of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2014-2017. The research method uses quantitative methods. Using independent variables Dividend, NPM, ROE and PBV and using the dependent variable is the stock price. This study uses multiple regression analysis to test the research hypothesis. The results of this study indicate simultaneously Dividend, NPM, ROE and PBV simultaneously affect the stock price. Partially Dividends and PBV have a significant effect on stock prices while NPM and ROE have no significant effect on stock prices. Price to Book Value is the most dominant variable, this is indicated by the value of significance levels of 0.001 <0.05 and β (beta) away from the 0 (zero) value.
