Abstract

ABSTRAK Jannah, Nofa Afrida Syifaul, 2018. Effect of Emotional Intelligence and Learning Behavior on the Level of Accounting Understanding. Thesis Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Majapahit Islamic University (UNIM). Advisor I: Hari Setiono, SE., M.Si. Advisor II: Nur Ainiyah, SE., M.Akt The ability to understand yourself or emotional intelligence and learning behavior often arises opinions can affect the level of understanding someone's accounting. This study aims to examine emotional intelligence and learning behavior towards the level of understanding of accounting in the 2014 Majapahit Islamic University accounting students. This type of research is quantitative and the data used are primary data in the form of questionnaires and secondary data in the form of theoretical libraries and discovery libraries. Purposive sampling is a method of determining the sample in this study, which means taking a sample using certain criteria that has taken 137 credits. Data processing techniques were performed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS. The results of this study indicate that the emotional intelligence partially obtained the value of t count <t table (0.217 <1.990) and the significance level is 0.089> 0.05, meaning that emotional intelligence does not affect the level of understanding of accounting, while learning behavior through partial testing obtained a negative sign then the value of t arithmetic <t table (-2.169 <-1.990) and the level of significance is 0.033 <0.05 means that learning behavior has a significant effect on the level of understanding of accounting, and simultaneously it is known that F arithmetic is 2.352 smaller than F table of 3, 12 emotional intelligence and learning behavior do not have a significant effect on the level of understanding of accounting.
