Thesis, Human Resource Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Majapahit Islamic University (UNIM) Advisor I : Rini Armin, SP., SE., MM Advisor II: Hartono, SE., MM Efforts to improve employee performance, one of which is by paying attention to the work stress experienced by each employee because stress in work will have an adverse impact on employees in carrying out their work so that they cannot work optimally. PT. Multi Sarana Indotani is an international standard pesticide company so that the products produced are quality and quality products. PT. Multi Sarana Indotani is endeavored to manage the company as well as possible and must realize that the development of a good and welldirected company is highly dependent on the human resources within the company. Therefore, proper employee work placements and workloads need to be considered by PT. Multi Sarana Indotani to avoid work stress that occurs to every employee who will have bad results on employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of work placement and workload on employee job stress at PT. Multi Sarana Indotani. This type of research is quantitative research. Samples from this study amounted to 151 employees in the production section of the total population of 243 employees. The sample technique used in this study is Proportional Random Sampling. Data obtained from respondents in the form of questionnaires. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to test this research hypothesis. Based on the results of multiple linear regression tests it is seen that work placements and workloads have a partial effect on employee job stress and work placements and workloads affect simultaneously on employee job stress. In this study the variable workload that most influences the work stress of employees, therefore the burden on employees needs to be considered again for the progress of the company.
