Abstract
ABSTRACK Cahya, Sabilul Erfan N.I, 2018. Analysis of the Tempe Industry Home Competition in Pulorejo Village Using CPM. Thesis / final project, Marketing Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Islam Majapahit (UNIM). Lecturer I : Budi Utami, SE., MM Lecturer II: M. Syamsul Hidayat, SE., MM Home industry is a product business house or a small company. It is said to be a small company because this type of economic activity is centered at home. The tempe home industry is a type of home-based business located in Pulorejo Village, Mojokerto which produces tempeh and is then marketed in the market and there are also middlemen or agents who take it. Home tempe industry competes to get consumers. Therefore, the tempe manager must set a strategy to be able to withstand the competition of similar industries in Pulorejo Village which are as many as two Home tempe industries that are the same. This study aims to determine the mapping of the competition in the tempe industry in Pulorejo Village, Mojokerto. This study uses CPM analysis by identifying various internal and external factors of Home industry. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Then the results of the analysis were tested using CPM analysis to find out the mapping of the tempe industry home competition in Pulorejo Village. From the results of the analysis obtained from the CPM analysis which was seen from the internal and external factors of the unit father's home industry of 2.44, Mr. Saipul's home industry was 2.74, and the home industry Mr. Kes amounted to 2.14 that the home industry was the unit (industry Researcher's reference tempe is in the second place from the competition analysis of the tempe industry. And from the results of the IE quadrant analysis shows that the strategy that should be applied by the home industry unit is the market penetration and product development.
