Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam rangka meningkatkan produktivitas dan keterampilan warga maka diperlukan sebuah kegiatan yang menghasilkan bagi masyarakat di Desa Gumeng, maka dari itu di bentuk Kelompok pembatik Godhong Pring, kelompok pembatik Godhong Pring memiliki jenis batik dengan nama Batik Godhong Pring yang juga menjadi batik khas dari Desa Gumeng, yang juga menjadi sarana pemberdayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran komunikasi Interpersonal dalam pengembangan Batik Pring kelompok pembatik Godhong Pring di Desa Gumeng, Kecamatan Gondang, Kabupaten Mojokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian jenis deskriptif dengan pendekatan metode kualitatif. Menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal pada setiap anggota kelompok pembatik Godhong Pring ini mempiliki peranan yang cukup penting dalam mengembangkan batik Godhong Pring di Desa Gumeng, Kecamatan Gondang, kabupaten Mojokerto. Adapun indikator atau bentuk dari komunikasi interpersonal antaran lain: keterbukaan, empati, dukungan, sikap positif dan kesetaraan. Komunikasi interpersonal sangat penting dalam kelompok kegiatan pembatik di desa tersebut. Kepala desa menunjukkan kemampuan untuk mempengaruhi anggota kelompok agar bergabung dalam kegiatan pembatik dengan tidak memberi batasan tertentu, yang menunjukkan kemampuan komunikasi dan kepemimpinan yang efektif. Anggota kelompok dalam kelompok pembatik dapat dengan bebas memberikan usulan dan saran dalam kelompok. Ini menunjukkan adanya komunikasi dua arah yang terbuka dan keterbukaan untuk menerima masukan dari sesama anggota kelompok. Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Interpersonal, pemberdayaan , Pembatik ABSTRACT In order to minimize the rate of early marriage and increase the productivity of the residents, an activity that is productive for the people in Gumeng Village is needed, therefore the Godhong Pring batik group was formed, the Godhong Pring batik group has a type of batik called Godhong Pring Batik which is also the typical batik of Gumeng Village. This study aims to determine the role of Interpersonal communication in the development of Pring Batik for the Godhong Pring batik group in Gumeng Village, Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency. This research uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative method approach. Using data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that interpersonal communication for each member of the Godhong Pring batik group has an important role in developing Godhong Pring batik in Gumeng Village, Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency. The indicators or forms of interpersonal communication include: openness, empathy, support, positive attitude and equality. Interpersonal communication is very important in the batik activity group in the village. The village head demonstrates the ability to influence group members to join in the batik-making activity without setting specific boundaries, which demonstrates effective communication and leadership skills. Group members in the batik making group can freely provide suggestions and suggestions in the group. This shows open two-way communication and openness to receive input from fellow group members.
