Abstract

School is an institution that provides various forms of lessons according to existing rules for students and prioritizes teaching morals and the formation of Islamic character to students. The problem is when many senior teachers retire resulting in a decline in student development. Based on this background, the writer is interested in conducting research with the aim of: 1. To describe the history of the establishment of SMPN 1 Jatirejo. 2. To describe the use of multimedia that was carried out at SMPN 1 Jatirejo in developing SMPN 1 Jatirejo. Based on its form, this researcher includes a type of qualitative research. Methods of data collection using participant observation; in-depth interviews (Indepth Interview); documentation. Data analysis consists of three interrelated paths, namely: data reduction; presentation of data; and verification. The results of the study show that the process of utilizing multimedia learning resources has gone through a fairly good developmental stage because it can be seen from the increasing number of students who are increasingly happy when given material through multimedia.
