Abstract

The development of the times in the era of revolution 5.0 requires breakthroughs in the world of education. Teacher play an active role in supporting students' low reading skills with a holistic approach through quizzes and educational games. One of them is by using Blooket in English learning. The purpose of this study is to determine students' reading skills towards interest and involvement in learning in class by using Blooket media. Blooket in this study is a gamification implemented by teacher in the classroom which is then used by students. This research used the qualitative method. Data was obtained through two instruments, namely an observation checklist and an interview. The game element inserted in Blooket creates a fun and not boring impression as often complained by students so far.
