Abstract

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING FLASH CARD TO TEACH VOCABULARY AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Imam Muhyiddin Teacher Training and Educational Faculty, Universitas Islam Majapahit imammuhyiddin22@gmail.com Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of flash card media compared to words list of media to students' vocabulary at elementary school MI HASYIM ASY'ARI. This study used experimental design which one group pre-test and posttest design. This research used quantitative analysis and was based four analysis steps : 1. Validity of the test 2. Reliability of the test 3. Data Analysis Pre-test and Post-test 4. T-test Analysis.The data of multiple choice test were collected from two scores there are pre-test and post-test, pre-test scores took before the research give the treatment and post-test scores took after the research give the treatment. The instrument of the research is Flash Card. The research findings of the study showed that there was a significant difference between pre-test and posttest results. it was indicated by the statistical of t-test which showed that te sig. (5%) was 10. it was higher than level of significance (10>2.5) which indicated that the one hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. it can be conclude that flash card media is effective in teaching vocabulary at elementary school. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media kartu flash dibandingkan dengan media daftar kata terhadap kosakata siswa di sekolah dasar MI HASYIM ASY'ARI. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimental yang satu kelompok pre-test dan post-test design. Penilitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif dan menggunakan empat langkah analisis: 1. Validitas tes 2. Reliabilitas tes 3. Analisis Data Pre-test dan Post-test 4. Analisis uji-t. Data tes pilihan ganda dikumpulkan dari dua skor ada nilai pre-test dan post-test, pre-test sebelum penelitian memberikan perawatan dan skor post-test diambil setelah penelitian memberikan perawatan. bahan penelitian adalah Flash Card. Temuan penelitian dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test. itu ditunjukkan oleh statistik t-test yang menunjukkan bahwa te sig. (5%) adalah 10. itu lebih tinggi dari tingkat signifikansi (10> 2,5) yang menunjukkan bahwa satu hipotesis (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak. dapat disimpulkan bahwa media kartu flash efektif dalam mengajar kosakata di sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci : Kosakata, Media, Kartu Flash, Penelitian Kuantitatif
