Abstract
ABSTRACT The main purpose of making peanut peeler machine is to meet the of peanuts when farmers are in the harverst season on a nut producing region. This machine is expected to help the stripping process, so can increase the eficiency and production quality. The step to make peanut peeler machine consists of needs analysis, preparation of product technical spesifications, machine concept design aim to produce alternative machine concept, after the machine concept is obtained the next step is design machine which development of machine concept in sketches from into technical object, the final step is make a machine document drawing design. The spesification of peanut peeler machine is 50 kg/hour capacity, measure of machine is 1200 mm x 900 mm x 1400 mm. Using gasoline motor 5,5 HP, 3600 rpm propulsion. The framework machine 40 x 40 x 4 mm. Transmisi system consist of several componen, that is pulley, v-belt, shaft, bearing, and gasoline motor. The transmission system will retard the gasoline motor speed from 3600 rpm to 1200 rpm. The mechanism that work on the trasmission system start from gasoline motor is transmitted to the pulley, the using v-belt will be transmitted to the fan, then transmission it to connecting shaft using v-belt, at the same time pulley will be distributed to pulley shaft of grinding blade using v-belt, the function is to turn grinding blade for peel the peanut shell. Estimated selling priced of peanut sheller machine is about Rp. 2.732.347. Keyword: Design, Peanut, Peeler Machine ABTRAK Tujuan utama pembuatan mesin pengupas kulit kacang adalah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengupasan kulit kacang tanah saat petani sedang musim panen di wilayah penghasil kacang. Mesin ini diharapkan dapat membantu proses pengupasan, sehingga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas produksi. Tahapan pembuatan mesin pengupas kulit kacang tanah terdiri dari analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan spesifikasi teknis produk, perancangan konsep produk bertujuan menghasilkan alternatif konsep produk, setelah konsep produk didapatkan maka langkah selanjutnya adalah merancang produk yang merupakan pengembangan konsep produk berupa gambar skets menjadi benda teknik, langkah terakhir dalam pembuatan mesin ini membuat dokumen produk berupa desain gambar kerja. Spesifikasi mesin pengupas kulit kacang tanah yaitu berkapasitas 50 kg/jam, ukuran mesin panjang 1200 mm x lebar 900 mm x tinggi 1400 mm. Menggunakan tenaga penggerak berupa motor bensin 5,5 HP, 3600 rpm, rangka mesin pengupas kulit kacang tanah mengunakan profil siku L 40 x 40 x 4 mm.
