Abstract

The study took place at SMAN 1 Gondang, specifically in class X-MIPA 3, comprising a sample of 33 students. Within the classroom, the researcher identified challenges encountered by the students, including difficulties in generating ideas, expressing them in written form, and comprehending grammar and structural aspects of composition. As a solution to these issues, the researcher employed the Ecofeminism approach along with the Connectivism method. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the impact of teaching narrative using the Ecofeminism approach through the Connectivism method and to explore students' perceptions regarding this instructional approach. The research utilizes a quantitative method with a pre-experimental research design, employing pre-test, post-test, and questionnaire as data collection instruments. The validity test results for both the pre-test and post-test data indicate a sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, suggesting the data's validity. Additionally, the hypothesis test shows a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 <0.05, leading to the acceptance of Hα and the rejection of Ho. The questionnaire's validity and reliability calculations confirm the data's validity and reliability, as the r-count value surpasses the r-table value. Based on the findings, it can be inferred that teaching narrative text using the Ecofeminism approach through the Connectivism method influences and enhances students' narrative writing abilities.
