Abstract
Abstract This study aims to describe: (1) Dictation in the novel Insya Allah, I Can School by Dul Abdul Rahman, (2) Figurative Language in the novel Insya Allah, I Bisa School by Dul Abdul Rahman, (3) Imagery in the novel Insya Allah, I Can School by Dul Abdul Rahman, (4) Value of Character Education in the novel Insya Allah, Aku Bisa School by Dul Abdul Rahman. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a stylistic approach. The data sources in this study are in the novel Insya Allah, Aku Bisa Sekolah by Dul Abdul Rahman related to stylistic studies. The data in the study are in the form of texts containing diction, figurative language, images, and the value of character education in the novel Insya Allah, Aku Bisa Sekolah. This research place is not related to the place, but in the form of a novel text. The time of this study starts from December 2017 to June 2018. Data collection techniques use library techniques, read, and record. Data validation in this study uses triangulation theory. Data analysis in this study uses content analysis. Based on the results obtained from the research indicated that: (1) diction in the novel Insya Allah, I Bisa Sekolah as a whole totaled 37 data including concrete words, connotation words, absorption words, and greeting words, (2) figurative language in the Insya Allah novel, I Can School as a whole amounted to 24 data which includes majas metaphor, majas simile, and majas personification, (3) images in the novel Insya Allah, I Bisa Sekolah as a total of 25 data which includes visual images, auditory images, and motion images, (4 ) the value of character education in the novel Insya Allah, Aku Bisa Sekolah as a total of 26 data covering religious values, the value of hard work, the value of appreciating achievement, and the value of social care.
