Abstract

ABSTRACT Alamsyah, Miftakhul dafit, THE EFFECT OF COMPENSATION AND WORK MOTIVATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE Human Resource Management Study, Faculty of Economics, Majapahit Islamic University (UNIM). Advisor 1 : Rini Armin, SP., SE., MM Advisor 2 : Kasnowo, S.Sos.I., MM This study aims to determine: (1) The effect of Compensation to employee performance in PT. Nusa Palapa Gemilang. (2) The effect of work motivation on employee performance in PT. Nusa Palapa Gemilang. (3) The effect of Compensation and Work Motivation simultaneously on employee performance in PT. Nusa Palapa Gemilang. This study categorized in survey research, with research instrument form a questionnaire. This research is population research with the number of respondents as many 55 employees. This test validity instrument is using Confirmatory Factor Analysis then the reliability test is using Cronbach Alpha. The analysis technique is using the multiple linear regression. The study found that: (1) Compensation has positive effect on employee’s performance in PT. Nusa Palapa Gemilang in amount of (β) 17,681 (** p <0:01; p = 0.000), with Compensation on the performance of employees is 0,193. (2) Work motivation has positive effect on employee’s performance in PT. Nusa Palapa Gemilang in amount of (β) 0.187 (** p <0:01; p = 0.000), with conflict on the performance of employees is 0,193. (3) compensation (β) 0.205 (** p <0.01; p = 0.005) and work motivation (β) 0.187 (** p <0.01; p = 0.000) has positive influence on employee’s performance in PT. Nusa Palapa Gemilang, with is equal to 17,681. Keywords: Employee Performance, Work Motivation, Compensation
