Abstract

STUDENTS’ EXPERIENCE USING GOOGLE DOCS ON COLLABORATIVE WRITING ACTIVITY Name : Kharisma Dywanti NIM : 51906140008 Advisor I : Wiwik Mardiana, S.Pd., M.Hum Advisor II : Ahmad Iklil Saifulloh, S.S., M.Pd ABSTRACT This study was conducted to investigate the learning process by utilizing Google Docs in collaborative writing activities, as well as to investigate students' experiences in using Google Docs as a collaborative writing medium in the writing classroom. This research used the case study method to collect data, using data derived from observation techniques, student reflections, and interviews. The results showed that all students had fun and interesting experiences in using Google Docs in collaborative writing sessions, they also recognized that Google Docs helped their writing work and helped them improve their writing skills. The learning process with Google Docs was also good because the teachers and students were familiar with Google Docs and could quickly operate and apply it in the collaborative writing workshop, the students collaborated on this project, putting their unique thoughts into one complete text.
