Abstract

Return is a reward for investors' willingness to bear the risk of their investment. Return can motivate and attract investors to invest. The level of return aobtained by investors is influenced by internal factors and external factors of the company. In this study the internal factors used are earnings per share (EPS), dividends per share (DPS), acapital structure (DER) and profitability (ROE), while the external factors used are inflation, interest rates and exchange rates. This study aims to determine internal factors and external factorsa to the company's stock return. This research was conducted on food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2105-2018. The method of adetermining the sample using purpose sampling technique. The analysis used is multiple linear regression test. Based on the results of research analysis, it was found that earnings per share, return on equity, interest rates and aexchange rates did not significantly influence stock returns, while dividends per share, debt to equity ratio and inflation significantly affected stock returns. Simultaneous testing shows the seven avariables simultaneously affect stock returns.
