Abstract

Abstract The location of a water source that is lower than the community's residence makes the community need a pump, but conventional pumps have problems if the water source is far from electricity and fuel. A hydram pump is the solution to this problem, because this pump does not require electricity or fuel. Hydram pump can work for 24 hours, the cost of manufacture and maintenance is relatively cheap. This research was conducted to determine the biggest head outout of PVC hydram pump / 1 inch Used Pipe on 3 air tube variations with a volume of TU1 0.0009 m³, TU2 0.0019m³, TU3 0.0024 m³. In this study with a variant of 3 air tubes, TU 1 with a tube volume of 0.0009 m output of output height of 4 m obtained the highest output head of 0.75 bars with an input height of 1 m, a step length of 9 mm and a weight of 150 grams of waste valve load. For TU 2 with a tube volume of 0.0019 m³ the output height of 4 m obtained the highest output head of 0.85 bar with an input height of 1 m, a step length of 9 mm and a weight of 150 grams of waste valve load. Whereas TU 3 with a tube volume of 0.0024 m output of output height of 4 m obtained the highest output head of 1 bar with an input height of 1 m, a step length of 9 mm and a weight of 150 grams of waste valve load. Abstrak Letak sumber air yang lebih rendah dari tempat tinggal masyarakat membuat masyarakat memerlukan pompa, tetapi pompa konvensional mempunyai kendala jika sumber air tersebut jauh dari sumber listrik dan bahan bakar. Pompa hidram adalah solusi dari permasalahan tersebut, karena pompa ini tidak memerlukan energi listrik maupun bahan bakar. Pompa hidram dapat bekerja selama 24 jam, biaya pembuatan dan perawatan relatif murah . Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui head outout terbesar pompa hidram PVC/Pipa Bekas 1 inci pada 3 variasi tabung udara dengan volume TU1 0.0009 m³, TU2 0.0019m³, TU3 0.0024 m³. Dalam penelitian ini dengan varian 3 tabung udara, TU 1 dengan volume tabung 0.0009 m³ tinggi output 4 m diperoleh head head output terbanyak sebesar 0.75 bar dengan tinggi input 1 m, panjang langkah 9 mm dan berat beban katup limbah 150 gram. Untuk TU 2 dengan volume tabung 0.0019 m³ tinggi output 4 m diperoleh head output terbanyak sebesar 0.85 bar dengan tinggi input 1 m, panjang langkah 9 mm dan berat beban katup limbah 150 gram. Sedangkan TU 3 dengan volume tabung 0.0024 m³ tinggi output 4 m diperoleh head output terbanyak sebesar 1 bar dengan tinggi input 1 m, panjang langkah 9 mm dan berat beban katup limbah 150 gram.
