ABSTRAK Tabib, 2022. Analisis Tindakan Sosial Dan Nilai Pendidikan Karakter Dalam Novel Bedebah Di Ujung Tanduk Karya Tere Liye. Skripsi. Progam Studi Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Progam Sarjana Universitas Islam Majapahit. Pembimbing(I) Rani Jayanti, S.Pd. M.Hum, dan Pembimbing (II) Taswirul Afkar, S.S., M.Pd. Kata kunci : Sosiologi Sastra, Tindakan Sosial, Nilai Pendidikan Karakter Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Analisis Tindakan Sosial Dan Nilai Pendidikan Karakter Dalam Novel Bedebah Di Ujung Tanduk. Fokus pada tindakan sosial menurut teori Max Weber dan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter menurut Ki Hajar Dewantara. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik analisis baca, simak, dan catat. Tahap-tahap dalam metode penelitian ini termasuk kedalam jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Kehadiran penelitian adalah sebagai instrumen utama adalah peneliti sendiri dengan melakukan mengamati, membaca sebagai pengumpul data. Lokasi penelitian yang dibutuhkan data yaitu tidak membutuhkan tempat, maka dapat dilakukan oleh peneliti kapan pun dan dimana saja. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kata dan kalimat dalam Novel Bedebah Di Ujung Tanduk Karya Tere Liye, dimana kata dan kalimat berupa ucapan dan tindakan sosial tokoh maupun yang mengandung nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel Novel Bedebah Di Ujung Tanduk Karya Tere Liye. Analisis data dalam penelitian kualitatif termasuk ke dalam analisis konten. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik validasi data triangulasi teori untuk menguji kevalidan dari data. Hasil penelitian ini yang pertama membahas tentang tindakan sosial tokoh utama menurut teorinya Max Weber ada 4 tindakan sosial meliputi; (1) tindakan rasional instrumental yaitu lolos dari pengejaran, mendapatkan informasi, perjalanan bertemu pemimpin, dan lolos dari hukuman, (2) tindakan rasional nilai yaitu nilai persahabatan, nilai kejujuran dan nilai kesopanan, (3) tindakan tradisional yaitu teknik ninja dan teknik klasik. (4) tindakan afektif yaitu merasa bangga dan marah. Hasil penelitian ini yang pertama membahas tentang nilai pendidikan karater menurut teorinya Ki Hajar Dewantara ada 5 asas, tetapi peneliti hanya mengambil 3 asas dari kelima asas meliputi; (1) asas kemanusiaan yaitu menolong, dan bijaksana, (2) asas kebangsaan yaitu membela bangsa dan kehormatan bangsa, (3) asas kebudayaan yaitu pakaian tradisional dan tradisi di Bhutan. Keywords: Sociology of Literature, Social Action, Value of Character Education This study aims to describe the analysis of social action and the value of character education in the novel Bedebah Di Ujung Tanduk. Focus on social action according to Max Weber's theory and the values of character education according to Ki Hajar Dewantara. Collecting data using analysis techniques read, listen, and note. The stages in this research method are included in the type of qualitative research with a sociology of literature approach. The presence of research as the main instrument is the researcher himself by observing, reading as data collectors. The research location that requires data is that it does not need a place, so it can be done by researchers anytime and anywhere. The data in this study are in the form of words and sentences in the Bedebah Di Ujung Tanduk Novel by Tere Liye, where the words and sentences are in the form of speech and social actions of the characters as well as those containing the value of character education in the novel Bedebah Di Ujung Tanduk by Tere Liye. Data analysis in qualitative research is included in content analysis. Checking the validity of the data using data validation techniques triangulation theory to test the validity of the data. The results of this study are the first to discuss the social actions of the main character according to Max Weber's theory there are 4 social actions including; (1) instrumental rational actions, namely escaping from pursuit, getting information, traveling to meet leaders, and escaping punishment, (2) value rational actions, namely the value of friendship, the value of honesty and the value of decency, (3) traditional actions, namely ninja techniques and classical techniques. . (4) affective actions, namely feeling proud and angry. The results of this study are the first to discuss the value of character education according to Ki Hajar Dewantara's theory, there are 5 principles, but the researcher only takes 3 of the five principles including; (1) the principle of humanity, namely helping and being wise, (2) the principle of nationality, namely defending the nation and the honor of the nation, (3) the principle of culture, namely traditional clothing and traditions in Bhutan.
